Founder Ruby Barreau leads the hair fashion direction of March14. Years spent preparing celebrities backstage for the biggest nights of the fashion calendar, the Met Gala among them, shaped the level of expertise she set out to bring to the hair industry in Dubai. Beside her stands Essa Makhoul, the hairdresser who cares for every March14 celebrity client. Ruby brought him Paris level training, and he has become the reference for blonde highlights and balayage in Dubai.
March14 is a L’Oréal – Kérastase Professional Hair Salon, where both transformation and care are treated at the highest level. All color services, from blond highlights and balayage to full transformations, are carried out with L’Oréal Professional systems for maximum performance and color longevity.
Inside March14, clients have access to the Kérastase Hair treatment Lab, a system that creates tailor-made concentrates mixed on the spot by the hairdresser. Each blend is designed around hair & scalp condition, hair strength, and hair goals, delivering instant and long lasting results in a single treatment.
The March14 Global Blond is Dubai’s signature for precision highlighting, performed by a celebrity L’Oréal Professionnel colourist trained in Paris. Hair is lifted safely from root to tip with L’Oréal and Kérastase systems — no toner masking flaws — for a cool, luminous, yellow-free blond that keeps its elasticity and grows out seamlessly.
Backstage-inspired colour work treated with technical precision inside an official L’Oréal Professionnel and Kérastase environment. The seasonal Terra Caramel collection layers bespoke amber and gold highlights, while hand-painted balayage mirrors the hair’s natural movement for refined, low-maintenance dimension that grows out without a hard line.
Finishing led by stylists trained on backstage sets, international fashion shows and red carpets. Coloured, highlighted or extended hair is styled with Kérastase Chroma Absolu, Blond Absolu or Résistance, while textured hair is shaped with Curl Manifesto or Nutritive systems — built for definition and hold that lasts past the studio door.
Every appointment opens with a full consultation of the hair’s natural movement, growth pattern, scalp health and porosity, shaping a cut that holds its structure and complements facial proportions. Kérastase Hair Lab treatments, including Fusio-Dose, prepare and protect the fibre beforehand so the finished cut sits clean and reflects light evenly.
Every set is analysed for thickness, shine, elasticity and cuticle direction before it’s coloured, toned, highlighted or shadow-rooted in-studio to blend seamlessly with natural hair. As a full-service studio, extensions combine freely with colour, gloss or straightening for one cohesive, healthy result.
A dedicated diagnostic space inside the studio where scalp condition, fibre strength and long-term hair quality are assessed using the full Kérastase in-salon ecosystem.
