The appointment, step by step

1. The consultation and the sectioning

Every blonde at March14 starts with a conversation: the shade she dreams of, what her hair has been through, how she styles it at home. Only then does Essa section. Clean, precise partings decide where the light will sit, so this is where the result is truly designed.

2. Foils and lightener

Fine slices are woven out and painted with lightener, then sealed in foil. The application stays close to the root to keep the regrowth soft, and every foil is checked as it develops. This is what monitoring the bleach means in practice: nothing is left to chance and nothing is pushed further than the hair can take.

3. Rinse, tone and rebuild

Once the lift is right, the hair is rinsed, toned to the chosen shade and treated with Kérastase care to rebuild strength after the bleach. Here the goal was a cool, creamy beige blonde with a soft shadow at the root.

4. The root check

Before the final styling, Essa lifts the hair at the parting to check the blend from root to lengths in natural light. If the transition is not seamless, it is corrected now, not at the next appointment.

The reveal
