March14 Nail Art of the Week: Eight Designs From the Best Salon for Nail Art in Dubai

Every week, new sets leave the March14 Nails Theatre that deserve more than a single Instagram post. So we are starting a weekly edit: March14 Nail Art of the Week, eight designs made in our Dubai atelier over the last few days, photographed on our own clients. This first edition is also our answer to a question we hear often, which is what actually makes the best salon for nail art in Dubai. Look closely at these eight sets and you will see it.

Design one: orange marble with gold, our Nail Art of the Week

This is the set of the week, and it is the one on the cover. Almond nails on a sheer nude base, with tangerine and amber marbled into the tips, fine gold linework tracing the edge of each colour field, and small gold studs set into the design. No two nails repeat: some carry a full marbled tip, some a thin orange stripe, some a single framed stone. It reads as one composition across ten nails, which is exactly how our nail artists think about a set.

Design two: tropical pink

A summer mood carried into autumn. Long almond nails with fuchsia hibiscus flowers, pink leopard spots, butter yellow tips, and tiny gold seashell and starfish charms. The clear base keeps all of it light, so a very busy design still looks fresh rather than heavy.

Design three: red rose marble

Deep red almond nails with roses drawn in black linework, finished in a high gloss top coat so the petals look almost lacquered. A design like this only works when every line is steady and every rose sits in proportion to the nail it is on.

Design four: blue flames on a cherry ombré

Long stiletto nails in a cherry to black ombré, with sky blue flames rising from the tips and a touch of pink inside each flame. Flames are a classic, and that is precisely why they are easy to get wrong. Here the curves are clean, the blue is saturated, and the ombré melts without a visible line.

Design five: lemons and blue tiles

A Mediterranean table on ten nails. Lemon slices, cobalt tile motifs, navy gingham and small 3D blueberries, with a crisp white French tip tying it all together. Each nail tells a different part of the story, and the palette of yellow, white and blue keeps it coherent.

Design six: nude with gold and silver chrome lines

For the client who wants detail without colour. A rosy nude on long almond nails, crossed with free form lines in gold and silver chrome that look like fine jewellery wrapped around each nail. It pairs with everything she owns.

Design seven: aqua with a silver chrome frame

Short, soft almond nails in a dusty aqua, each one outlined with a mirror silver chrome frame. It is a quiet design, and quiet designs are unforgiving: the frame has to be even on every nail, and it is.

Design eight: crystal French

A soft pink base, a clean white French tip, a milky white pattern floating underneath and micro crystals scattered across each nail. It is the kind of set a bride, a guest or anyone with a big week ahead asks for: delicate from a distance, detailed up close.

What makes the best salon for nail art in Dubai

Eight sets, eight completely different techniques: marbling, floral painting, animal print, linework, flames, 3D elements, chrome and a French. That range is the first thing to look for in a nail art salon. A studio that does one style well is common in Dubai.
